The University of Kent's Degree Congregations and Awards Ceremonies take place in Canterbury Cathedral from Monday 22nd July to Friday 26th July 2024.
A selection of B&B and self-catering accommodation is available on our beautiful Canterbury Campus from Sunday 21st July until Saturday 27th July 2024 inclusive.
Where you will stay
We have various room types available to suit your needs.
In Keynes College we can offer single or double en-suite rooms which include breakfast at £55 / £80 per room per night. Bed linen and towels are provided in these rooms.
Meanwhile in Park Wood, we can offer single rooms from £30 per person per night in our 5 or 6 bedroom self-catered houses (£150/ £180 respectively). These are a great option for groups as the house is self-contained with a shared bathroom and kitchen. All rooms have single beds.
There is free on-site parking for the duration of your stay.

Arrival/Departure
Check in is from 2pm and check out is by 10am.
Subject to availability you can extend check-out until 12noon for an extra £10 but this must be arranged in advance of your check-out time at reception. Unfortunately we are unable to offer an earlier check-in time. Whilst we appreciate you may have an afternoon ceremony these check-in and check-out times are set to allow our Housekeeping Teams enough time to prepare the rooms for the next graduation guests.
Guests should check in at your college reception area: Keynes College Reception for Keynes College and Park Wood Reception for Park Wood Houses and Flats.
If arriving for the first time out of reception hours then arrive after these times, please just contact Campus Security using the phone/call point located outside your reception (or call direct on 01227 823300) to let them know you have arrived to collect your key and they will come to reception and give you access to your room. Once you have collected your key there is no curfew in place and your fob will allow you to access your accommodation 24 hours a day.
Breakfast
For guests staying in Keynes College B&B rooms, breakfast will be served in Dolche Vita, Keynes College between 7:45am - 9:30am.
Park Wood Houses are self-catering only and do not include breakfast. Self-catering equipment is provided in the kitchens. You are welcome to visit any open self-catering outlet to purchase breakfast.
Terms and Conditions
Written cancellations received 48 hours prior to the arrival date will be entitled to a full refund, please email stay@kent.ac.uk
Cancellations received within 48 hours prior to arrival will be subject to a 100% cancellation fee but substitutions will be possible.
Any charges arising from additional cleaning (beyond what would normally be expected) required during occupation, or when the property is vacated, or any damages arising from the groups occupation of the property, will be the responsibility of the person who makes the booking and any such charges will be billed to them.
Late check-outs (after 10am and up to 12noon) will be charged at £10.00 per room. For check-outs after 12noon, an additional nights accommodation will be chargeable.
